A poem about manifestation.
Ideas alone don’t attract much attention but add feelings and then action and pretty soon the universe will be mirroring your energy.
The idea slipped in quietly,
she didn’t even notice, her mind was so busy with worry.
How was she going to manage, what should she do?
The new idea gave her a little wave,
she gave it a blank stare and didn’t pay it any mind.
Her other thoughts were swirling, chaotic and mean,
it made her feelings prickle with fear,
her spirit shuddered. No, we don’t want to go down that path.
The universe nodded. Okay, no alerts yet then.
The idea wriggled to get her attention,
she detected the movement and finally zoned in.
Her emotions breathed a sigh of relief.
Spirit did a little jig, happy to keep the momentum going.
Alright said the universe. Let’s see what we can line up.
She pulled out a notebook and began to write.
It didn’t make a lot of sense but she kept at it
and by the time night fell the universe had sent out nudges to dozens of sources.
The next morning she awoke with a smile for the first time in weeks.
Her phone buzzed,
someone needed her advice, was she free to chat?
She lay back and thought about her notes from last night.
All it took was a step in the right direction.
In her mind, the idea had a grin from ear to ear,
and her feelings were dancing in a golden spotlight.
She got out of bed and joined them.
Aha, she said yes! We have action!
Round up the team said the universe, now we have some real work to do!
